Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MusicToPiano ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MusicToPiano is a web application that converts audio recordings into piano sheet music. The Service includes:

• Automatic transcription of uploaded audio into piano arrangements
• Multiple arrangement difficulty levels and musical styles
• Export of scores in PDF, MIDI, and MusicXML formats
• Interactive score viewing with playback synchronization

3. User Accounts

You may create an account using your email address or Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload audio you do not have the right to use for personal study
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit scores generated by the Service
• Use the Service to create derivative works for public performance or commercial purposes without appropriate licenses from the original copyright holders
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, share accounts, or automate access
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes others' rights

5. Credits and Billing

Free accounts receive limited previews. Full song conversions require credits, purchasable as one-time packs or monthly subscriptions. All prices are in EUR and include applicable taxes where required.

• Song Pack (€9.95): 50 full-song conversions, one-time payment, no expiration
• Pro Monthly (€7.99/month): 40 songs per month, cancel anytime
• Pro Yearly (€69/year): 480 songs per year

Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled case-by-case; contact [email protected].

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of audio you upload. Scores generated from your uploads are for your personal study and enjoyment. The original compositions remain the property of their respective copyright holders. MusicToPiano claims no ownership of your uploaded content or generated scores.

The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Automatic music transcription is an inherently imperfect process; we do not guarantee that generated scores are error-free or perfectly match the original audio.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MusicToPiano shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; all data is permanently removed.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
